The Wizarding Faire is July 12th to the 25th, which actually means there are only two days left. Please check it out before it is too late. You never know if the items are exclusive and will never be sold again, and most of the time, if you can find the items in the Brand's Mainstore, they cost a lot more. Just check it out and support the students and Designers. At Seraphim they have a preview of most, if not all, the items for the Wizarding Faire. The Manga Fair is from July 19th to August 9th. Manga is based off of Japanese comic books. Normally it is for adults as well as children. Being in Second Life, I expect we can find a good blend of cute, nice, as well as more adult for some items. We still have about two weeks to check it out. At Seraphim they have a preview of most, if not all, the items at the Manga Fair.

Meme instructions: Answer the follwing questions and don't forget to leave a link to your post in the comments. Also you can leave a link in Strawberry Singh's Post. You can also leave your photos in the Flickr Group.

  1. Regardless of your current number, how old do you actually feel?
I normally feel the age that people view me as on average, which currently, is about 21/22. It isn't a big gap from my actual age, which is 29 in the next couple of weeks.
  2. Which is worse, failing or never trying?
I would say it is worse never trying because you never know if you will like it or can even be good at it. But failing means that you wanted to discover more about yourself, no matter if you were good at it or not. Plus failing means, you weren't good but doesn't mean you can't be good.
  3. If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life differently?
I believe I would have done more, and in a way felt rushed about it. I would have started having kids a few years sooner, and I believe I would have been raised to pick just one subject at a young age so that I could have a career before I died. That would also mean that I only have 11 years to go before I die. But this is also assuming I have the knowledge that we do now and knowing what it could be like to live til 70 or even to 100. I suppose if I didn't have that knowledge life would actually be a lot like now. Just living every day and hoping for the best.
  4. Are you more worried about doing things right, or doing the right things?
I would say most of the time I worry about doing the right thing. I get so much fulfillment from helping people, so if I feel like I have the means to help and could have, but don't I feel guilt. Now I hope I can do things right like nearly every person on the planet, but sometimes its better to have tried the right thing and get it wrong, than not try at all because you might not get it right.
  5. Would you rather be a worried genius or a joyful simpleton?
I believe I would rather be a joyful simpleton. Even knowing that I was not a genius, I would still be happy. I also believe that I can bring a lot of happiness to those around me because I am so full of joy, instead of worrying and never actually getting anything done but thinking of all the possible ways to get it done.
  6. Have you been the kind of friend you want as a friend?
I like to think I have been the type of friend I would like to have. Someone that just wants to hang out and have time with those important to me. Someone willing to listen and help without wanting anything in return, but maybe a thank you, or a cuddle. Someone who can even put aside their negative feelings to help those who have hurt you without being cruel.
  7. Do you remember that time 5 years ago when you were extremely upset? Does it really matter now?
5 years ago, I was about to have my son. If I had to pick an upset time around there, one would be that I was supposed to go in to have him, I went in and they told me to come back in three days. I was totally excited to have him, then didn't get him. After having him, I was upset I couldn't get him to latch on, and I couldn't get him to stop crying. Those things don't really matter now, things are fantastic now!
I am, in the present, upset about something that had happened 5 years ago. I had my son circumcised. I was told to do it now, at three days old, or I would have to wait until he was 1. Being a new mom, and raised around girls during my early life, I didn't even realize there was another choice. I could not have it done at all. It really does matter to me now. If I could keep every negative thing in my life, just to undo that one mistake I would. It is the biggest regret I have ever had to this date.
  8. At what time in your recent past have you felt most passionate and alive?
My family and I went to the Grand Canyon at the start of July, it was fantastic!!
  9. If you just won a million dollars, would you quit your job?
My current job is stay at home lady (wife, and mother), as well as blogger, and designer. I would not quit those things, but I would get us out of debt, and put money into different types of savings, so that in a few years we could buy a house. Plus with that money I think I would do better at both of my jobs.
  10. If you knew that everyone you know was going to die tomorrow, who would you visit today?
I would take my family, if they were up for it, and go visit my girlfriend. Though I suppose a good idea would be to have a world wide plan of everyone going to a certain location to see those important to us. I wouldn't want to tell my husband he couldn't visit his dad, or tell my girlfriend she couldn't visit her dad, but I would want to be with both of them and my son.
  11. What do you feel is the difference between being alive and truly living?
Being alive, is just like living every day, paycheck to paycheck. Being alive, is where you do the same thing nearly every day with little to no progress, and not getting much joy out of it. Truly living to me would be embracing the feelings of life. Getting to amazing high points and pulling through the really low points. Trying to discover yourself and the world around you. Not just settling in the life the world has given you.
  12. If we learn from our mistakes, why are we always so afraid to make a mistake?
Most of us learn from our mistakes, but we are afraid to make mistakes, at least in America, because we are shunned for it. We make the mistake once, and we are labeled as making it for now on and forever. We are made to believe that if we do make a mistake even once, it won't be looked at as a mistake, but as the worst thing possible we could have done.
  13. What would you do differently if you knew nobody would judge you?
This is tough, my girlfriend suggested having sex with her at her husband's football games, in local. I find it to be an interesting thought, which didn't even occur to me. Irl I would like to have sex in a public place at least once without being judge. Would be a feeling I haven't had yet.
  14. If you could offer a newborn child only one piece of advice, what would it be?
Communicate - That would actually be my advice for everyone. That is the biggest thing I think everybody needs to learn how to do, and it should be learned from a very early age. It is also something that should forever be worked on. It is something hard to be perfect at but is helpful is in so many problems.
