This line, by Blaque Athena Designs (BAD), consists of different parts that will be explored in this post and at least one other post next week. We're starting out with the Artificial, a blazer combo with Subtractions. The Artificial blazer is a unique, bi-color, asymmetrical cut, made of jaspè mono-stretch (wool and elastane blend) , that comes with the shirt attached. This blazer ends at the widest part of hips and the sleeves are long. Subtractions is the undershirt of Artificial, but they are two different pieces. Subtractions is a beadeau cut, that is also bi-color. It has a unique modesty panel on the front that gives an interesting look. Artificial comes in twenty-three colors, while Subtractions comes in twenty-two different colors.
Paired with the Morae slacks, this gives the overall look a very professional feeling. The top of the slacks has the same modesty panel as the Subtractions top. These slacks are pressed in the front with a textile, made of jaspè mono-stretch, same as the Artificial blazer, that gives a slightly causal feel. There are four pockets, and the two front pockets are quite large. Not ideal for storage if you want to keep a sleek profile. The length of the slacks stop just above the ankle to show off your favorite pair of shoes. Morae comes in six solid colors to mix and match.
