1. How do you deal with criticism? I like to think I deal with criticism well. I will take in what people are telling me, then decide how I want to proceed, normally. Sometimes I do take it a little hard if I felt I have worked on something so well, and the person criticizing seems to dislike everything I have done. I have a feeling most people are like this though.
2. What's the most infuriating thing other SL residents do? I really dislike when people use the letters "u" or "ur" or "r" without spelling them out, you, your, are. It makes me feel like the conversation is cheaper and I am not worth using an entire word, that every person who speaks English, should know. Even if it is small talk, for a short amount of time, I want to feel worth it, and invested in, or then why bother.
3. Which SL resident would you most like to have lunch with and why? I would like to have lunch with Strawberry Singh. She is someone that inspires me to be the best blogger I can be. Plus, lunch dates in SL can be fun once in a while, and I think Strawberry would agree.
4. Who would you say is your 'anti' role model? Someone who serves as a warning rather than an inspiration? I don't have a certain person in mind. But I do watch people, and try to take what others like and dislike about them in mind.
5. What was something you used to enjoy, but was ruined for you? Sim wide role-playing. I am not sure how ruined it is for me, or how it even became ruined. After it was 'ruined' I haven't really been able to do it the same. Just small rp with one or two people now, for like, maybe, an hour.
6. What's something you want to do that you's be embarrassed to tell other people about? This one is tough. I like to think I am a fairly open, transparent person. The only thing I can think of, that I am remotely embarrassed about in Second Life, is getting on voice.
7. What's the oddest term of endearment you've ever used or that someone's used for you? I had someone in my life that called me sweetie all the time. Normally that wouldn't bother me, but they way they used it, made me always feel like it was sort of a pat on the head. Really bothered me.
8. Have you ever fallen in love with another SL resident? Yes, a few times now.
9. Describe a time/event in your slife that you're nostalgic for.. for me, that would be the role-playing brought up in question 5. I used to be a part of a decent sized malkavian clan. We moved through a few sims, but always together. At one point I was even an elder. I remember the fun, just a tad of drama, but also being adored by many members of our clan. I had so much fun and it was one of the times I could recall memories from SL as though I was in SL. After it died out, people going for RL and whatnot, I haven't been able to be in roleplaying quite the same. Since then I have done Firefly, Fantasy, Hogwarts and more, but nothing has stuck. I would like to find something eventually though.
10. What's something sweet you'd like someone to do for you? Actually, just being a real friend. Having real conversations with me, truly being interested in my life, and being there for me in time of need, but also boredom, because who better to destroy boredom than a good friend.
